Many customers use this route to descend instead of ascend. Either way it is after Mweka the next steepest route. It is also quite scenic and relatively infrequently used. We organizes eco-friendly climbs on this magnificent dome-shaped mountain and boasts of an excellent safe climbing record. | 3 | AM | Forest cave camp – Barranco camp (12,960ft/3950m) Depart for the second day’s rest at Barranco Campsite going through moorland with picnic lunch on the way. |

| 4 | AM | Barranco camp – Arrow Glacier camp (16,000ft/4876m) After breakfast, ascend to Arrow glacier camp beautifully surrounded by glacier streams. Have dinner and get set for the mid-night hike to the summit. |
